Many foreigners think Italy is beautiful because of its monuments.

But the strange thing is something else.

In Italy even small village bars have paintings on the walls.

Not posters. Real paintings.

Sometimes made by someone from the town.

You grow up like this. Surrounded by painting without even noticing it.

Maybe that’s also why I started painting.
