I’m not sure I’m following this. It feels like calling the fediverse a pedophile ridden network. Like sure there is a lot of dubious content over there but that has nothing to do with the underlying protocol. And you’re not forced to follow accounts generating said content.
What is it exactly that’s turning these people off from the nostr ecosystem? Is it that apps default to seeding posts from annoying accounts/relays?
This feels like a similar discourse I heard regarding Odysee (formerly LBRY) and then instead of trying to change it the so called left wingers decided to fall back to centralized YouTube once again. And now they’re complaining about the corporate overreach and enshitification…
At some point you’ve got to pick the least of two evils and it’s insane that these people considered the decentralized protocols to be the inherently worse option.
