Nice! Yeah Les Pauls are classic. Funny you should mention a gold top. I was literally just helping a family friend identify what year his Les Paul Deluxe gold top was. He bought it in 1974 and kept it in prestine condition. The serial number puts it between a 1970-72 model. But based on other features it looks like it’s a 70 or 71.
