Kind-1 (TextNote)

I replaced the battery in my old Kindle Paperwhite 2 and slightly damaged the display coating, but luckily not in the center - just near the edge, where it's not very noticeable.

I jailbroke the firmware and installed KOReader. Setting up KOReader is its own story. The interface is extremely unintuitive. I used OPDS to add a library of pirated book copies.

And, now I am ready for Amazon to end support for older Kindles.
