Seeing Bitcoiners left thoroughly humiliated -with their users easily tracked down and bagged by states or criminal cartels, not to mention all the fiascos surrounding Samourai Wallet, Tornado Cash, ColdCard, Liquid Network, and the like- I feel a bit sorry for them. Unlike figures like fiatjaf, who post tweets along the lines of "we must find ways to destroy Monero through even more intense attack vectors" while Monero is forced to confront so many ordeals at once, I advocate for every P2P digital money network to exist and be developed freely, to be chosen under free-market and competitive conditions, and for its users to remain safe from bad actors. If a product or service is to collapse, having it do so solely through the rational or praxeological withdrawal of its users or customers is both the most correct and ethical outcome, as well as the most efficient and peaceful one.
