It wouldn’t be hard to compromise Nostr, I’ve already proven that by converting a notable percent of Nostr into Monero people 🙃.

Any complicated, and intelligent state actor could destroy Nostr within a week using a combination of blackmailing/coercing/paying/killing the devs, pulling the plug on all relays with publicly traceable ips that don’t use tor, spreading/dispelling propaganda runs, and of course their most successful tool so far running bot networks.

While Bitchat runs on Nostr, Nostr doesn’t run on Meshing.

So in theory, the main Nostr, primal, Damus, Amethyst, Nostur, YakiHonne, Coracle, Mostard, etc. gets taken down the theoretical Nostr stays around for a little bit longer until feds make their own Mesh Network Honeypot that beats Bitchat.
