Mine are recently trimmed, I let them grow (I think I have nice nails 🤷‍♀️) but I try to keep them even. If I break one, I'll trim them all to that length. I'll get them polished for special occasions with a shellac polish that lasts forever because I can't stand chipped nail polish and don't want to destroy my nails for fake ones.
