I think it was nice listening to a dev involved in both Bitcoin and freedom tech more broadly. \n\nObscura looks interesting, and I’ll keep my eyes on it. We’ll have to see how court orders play out when Obscura is inevitably subjected to them. I don’t love the US jurisdiction, but any developed nation shares intelligence anyways. Plus there is the two hop model and good account/payment privacy which mitigates it. If they can solve the VPN reputation issue with connecting to websites that would be HUGE. I feel like the more private and secure a VPN provider is the more it’s abused and therefore the more its IPs get blocked by websites… Improved reputation plus better choice on websites to exclude would make this a no brainer recommendation for normal people who don’t want to deal with the friction (family members etc).\n\nA suggestion for the ungovernable.network site, make it easier to full screen a video. Right now I’ve had to fiddle with either pop out players or opening in a new tab. \n\nCheers!",
