Please come get me. Are you going to come get me?”\n\nThere are seven people in the car: two adults and five children—her uncle, her aunt, their four children, and Hind. Among them are Layan Hamada, 15, Mohammed Hamada, 11, and Sarah Hamada, 4.\n\nLayan, 15, is still alive at first. On the phone with emergency responders, she explains that a tank is right next to their car. Suddenly, a barrage erupts: 64 shots are heard in just 6 seconds, then Layan stops responding.\n\nHind was then the sole survivor in the vehicle.\n\nAn ambulance with two paramedics was dispatched to rescue her.
