I ask clankers technical questions when I feel like I'm out of my scope or need a sanity check.\n\nBut This morning, despite his good intentions, I almost lost my shit at a friend who was just trying to help but was using his clanker to talk at me like I haven't been doing Linux systems administration for over ten years WITHOUT an LLM. \n\nThere's some thing that I'm forgetting the name of, but it's called \"Unread Library Syndrome\" or something. You buy a bunch of books, you don't actually read them, and you talk like you have the fucking knowledge, and I think LLMs amplify whatever that fucking phenomenon is hard.
