What I’m listening for from Bessent today isn’t “QE.”

It’s whether he says Treasury is willing to expand long-end buybacks, use the TGA, or provide more liquidity support if market conditions require it.

$4B per operation is small.

The real signal would be Treasury treating the ~$950B TGA as a liquidity valve.
