  "content": "I have to say, after listening more to Ram Dass, I don't think I like his work. I think this is in part because some problematic people in my life LOVED Ram Dass so just the cadence gets me on edge. But also it's so indirect. I find as I'm listening to his talks I get mildly annoyed about the lack of clear point. \n\nThe meditation club I'm in really likes Ram Dass and I find that more often than not I just say I didn't listen to the podcast that week. Because if you don't have anything nice to say it's better to not say anything at all 🤷‍♀️\n\nI've not read anything of his and usually I'm a better reader than listener so maybe I should give that a chance. \n\nI think a big part of it is kind of... Idk he speaks as if Western culture is a monolith. And I wonder if it was more relatable to that boomer generation that was originally consuming this content. Idk, I find I often feel like I can't relate to his talks. \n\nI guess what I'm saying is... Do you like Ram Dass? If so, let's fight because your guru is trash 🔪🚮💩",
