  "content": "So I think you might be confused on how nostr live streaming and backend works on a technical level a little. \n\nIf you see the stream pop up in the list of live streams but when you click on the video theres nothing. It means the stream details were found on a nostr relay but the actual video host isnt online or theres an issue with the .M3U8  url (think your posting a .png or video file on nostr but you cant see the picture because the computer storing that data is having a issue). \n\nIf you dont see the stream details or video at all on a nostr website like zap stream, shosho or sifaka live but you see it on other sites. Thats due to nostr relays, not the backend servers hosting the actual stream. As long as all these nostr streaming sites use generally the same relays, there shouldn't be a issue. \n\nWhat your describing sounds like you were trying to watch a stream on shosho and you were not connected to correct relay on shosho which is why you couldn't see it appear in the list of streams. If you did see the stream name and details but not the video then its whoever is hosting the streaming causing the problem. \n\n Also idk if you noticed on sifaka.live and zap stream but on the video, if the person isnt self hosting and is using a 3rd party like zap stream to host. It shows you on the site the host name 😅. If you were to go live from shosho.live for example, it will show you on my website under the stream \"Hosted via shosho.live\" and if you self host, there is no host via box thing.\n\nIm sorry im bad at explaining.
