There's a case for this I can admit, on the basis of proving that a bad upgrade can be reversed. BIP-110 however doesn't seem to do this (or anything else) very cleanly at all.

Something like a blocksize reduction to correct the mistake of the segwit increase though could calm some concerns that if we add something problematic it'll be with us forever.
