  "content": "The vast majority of people on nostr, as of today, are bitcoiners and the reason they joined was because of bitcoin. That could change at some point but as of right now that is the main reason people are here. The whole decentralization argument is nice but we haven't even arrived there yet. Most notes are found on a small number of relays. We haven't seen how resilient nostr can be if those big relays were taken down.\n\nIt is not a stretch to say that shitcoins have harmed bitcoin adoption. I literally lost money and so did others falling for shitcoin scams. There is a lot of confusion for new people coming in to the space. Fortunately, I only lost a small amount. I personally know several people who dropped everything to do with bitcoin because of the shitcoin scams. The reason so many argue bitcoin not crypto is to differentiate between the two. And a big reason you'd want to differentiate is because of potential harm it causes. \n\nAnd I'm not sure what nostr adoption has to do with this. I am simply showing that the guy is a hypocrite. His morals are flexible. Very strict and paranoid about centralization risk but totally fine with a shitcoiner promoting eth defi wrapped btc swaps or whatever garbage it is.\n\nThe guy is just a total prick. Attacks other devs for building things, calling it AI slop. He's just a scumbag with no self awareness.",
