COMPARISON: DITTO AND NOSTRUDEL:

  • Ditto is slow. Especially text input/editing/paste emoji; (so, i'm enforced to write this text via NoStrudel) (maybe something in about:config can fix it?..)
  • Ditto haven't "disable browser storage" in settings (nostr can eat a lot of storage)
  • Ditto can't search only on one specified/selected relay
  • Ditto's Music can't open all albums of a specified musician
  • Ditto's "push notifications" sometimes freeze & crush Mozilla, even on 2GB RAM; even if Ditto.pub is not opened at all;
  • something wrong: even if i tried to add more Blossom servers, Ditto still can't upload my pics 😢
  • personally I dislike these "Blobbies"; they are too cute & girlish....
  • Ditto "feeds" only show me three or five tags; other tags, maybe, have ho room enough on screen?
  • Ditto's relay, when searching, returns notes only older than February, 26; = Both English-only (I can try to translate to russian, both clients, - if someone needs it?) = Both have source code stored on centralized servers (github/gitlab? Why not put .zip in any Blossom server? or torrent? Some other decentralized solution? IPFS?) = Both haven't PoW working: Ditto at all, NoStrudel have but just can't post anything even if I set PoW to 1 bit;
  • Ditto have cute theme (I prefer pink 😆 💖 who with me?)
  • Ditto have music & podcasts app; (In NoStrudel, you can see only direct link to sound/music file in json of event)
  • Ditto have easier interface
  • Ditto can rid out of any NSFW content easy (in settings), NoStrudel can only blur it (or mute by tags/words)
  • Ditto have streams (not tested yet)
  • Ditto have repositories/patches (as type of events, I mean)
  • Ditto have games (better put them together, under some link?)
  • Ditto is actively developing
  • Ditto have own relays+search relay
  • polls! I like it! Really! (still without pics, to be honest 🙄 )
  • Ditto showing me pics in search results always (NoStrudel, shows me only links to pics, sometimes...)
