You're going off against psychiatric drugs here and I love that topic. How much being off from some medical textbook baseline is ill? What is "ill" in the first place? Is the doctor's reality more real than your reality?

If somebody is paranoid for example, they will fear medication just like they fear all other things and they won't be happy because they live in constant fear. If a drug can get that down a notch, that otherwise healthy person can live a much happier life.
