Yeah this one was definitely interesting. Honestly, I was almost going to say no because of the name, which is the exact same as a government run initiative that was an abject failure. It is a weird twist on the topic and while I hold some reservations, I am glad this is the direction they are taking rather than more jack boots and cameras pointed at the plebs. We will likely have him back on in the future to see how things are going and if he has any new insights etc. Thank you for giving us some of your time as well, we really appreciate it. Now if I can just get Lx to get his butt on Nostr.

Meanwhile I will keep planting and raising food, re-integrating all of the waste into inputs, and develop a self sufficient system that doesnt rely on, but can be augmented with, tech.

We maintain 2 5 gallon buckets of water glassed eggs later in the year to get us through winter. I eat 3 to 6 per day myself. 😁

Alright folks, this one is a treasure that I thought some of yall might enjoy for the upcoming spring or summer festivities. Its easy, take about an hour, and feeds a mess of people. Enjoy! This one is straight from the South and is sure to be a crowd pleaser. We call it Low Country Boil, is our neighboring state (SC) it is affectionately referred to as Frognoore Stew.
Main:
One White onion Large chopped fine, Corn on the cob in thirds (about 6 to 9 ears (Up to 30 pieces or so) , Kielbasa or Andouille sausage, Red Potatoes, Shrimp/crab/crayfish (Something to that effect)
Liquids and Season:
6 boxes of chicken broth
6 back of beer, If possible use Flying Dog Beer, Old Bay Summer Ale, Dead Rise
Zatarains liquid bottle and dry pouch
Big jar of mince garlic (6 - 8 ounces)
Add salt
Add pepper
Add water (About double what is already there for liquid
Add old bay season
Hot sauce, Texas Pete small bottle (If desired, it will have a good kick already this will just make it a real good kick)
Remember the water and beer will skim down to normal level, but don’t be scared to add more salt
Mix liquids and seasoning together in a very large pot (I use a turkey fryer/fish fryer.. propane and outdoors)
Bring liquid and season to a boil
Add potatoes and onion cook for 30 minutes
add corn continue to cook for 10 minutes
Add Sausage continue to cook for 5 minutes
Add Shrimp/crab continue to cook for 3 to 6 minutes
Strain out ingredients and serve from a large foil pan or serving dish. Serve with butter for Potatoes and Corn..
Should feed about 20 people maybe up to 30..

Its true, but also not. The paradigm shift from being force fed content by an algorithm to choosing what you see needs to be explained better I feel. Also some form of category or interests, topics, something that was a bit more upfront to help fill feeds with something more than dev/devops/vibe or BTC Maxi stuffs would really help. Once you lean in and try to make it yours though it becomes a wonderful experience.

I recall waiting for my father to get up on Sunday to get the paper, I wasn't allowed to mess with it first (this was more of a game than anything else), then I would go and ask to read some of the paper, which caused an eyebrow raise and a question, do you want the entertainment/variety, or the stocks. I would then ask to take a look to see which one, then grab the "funnies" or "funny pages", which would create some laughter. I have been thinking about this since that conversation and miss the cartoons a good deal.
I think my favorites were Peanuts and Garfield.

If you haven't tried popcorn on the stovetop with nostr:nprofile1qqsfnnh6v3dspqtnwv3e46aed5k3nypyfx2wtet92ekg9szt3hr9k4qpzdmhxue69uhhqatjwpkx2urpvuhx2ue0qythwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnswf5k6ctv9ehx2ap0qy48wumn8ghj7mn0wd68yvfkxumrxvfex5mrwvfhxqhxzurs9ee82mn0denxcatc9e5k7tcwwncnc yet, you are seriously missing out. Give it a shot, you'll love it. 2 to 3 tbsp Great Ghee with a single kernel, when that one pops remove and add 1/2 cup popcorn and shake it shake it and continue until popping sounds drop to one every second or so then remove from heat whiles shaking. If you like you can shake shake shake, shake your seasoning.. I know cornball but whatever.. into the pot as well, salt, smoked salt, all purpose whatever, herbs, whatever you want. Its good stuff, and easy to make.
