Solitude is essential for cultivation of self. To know your own energy, your thoughts, your beliefs, your feelings, your alignment. If you’re always surrounding yourself with people, things, distractions, noise, everything in the field can become neutralized or flat. You can lose yourself more. What is mine, what is theirs. What is influencing me. There can be less clarity. Separation creates charge. The differential creates polarity. I find it best to be a whole energy, not a merged energy. I want to carry my own energy, not search for it in something or someone else. I notice if I am lacking in solitude I slip into frustration and resentment towards other people. Not at the fault of those other people, but at my own slip away from self. I find myself happiest when I allow myself enough solitude to be a whole individual energy, not a continuously merged one. Connection can then become an intentional choice. Not a dependency or a distraction.

A few weeks ago my dad was diagnosed with cancer. He’s a conventional doctor, 36 years. But he’s the complete opposite of health and wellness, and has spent much of his life battling addictions, countless bad habits, and eating the worst you can imagine. This diagnosis did not surprise me, although the world-renounced oncologist said it came from a virus and UV light (lol zero personal accountability) He’s spent so much of his life enslaved by centralized healthcare genuinely wanting to help serve people but being trained to stay too busy, miss out on so much of his family’s life, and push pills. In January he started working for one of the wealthiest hospital systems in the country, built upon immense greed and extraction. Some of the top level people at this hospital system making millions. Upon his cancer diagnosis, his employer fired him. Yes illegal. Against HIPPA and disability discrimination. Another example of how healthcare really cares about your health. His treatment plans would make him more of a liability than an asset, so termination was a better deal. Businesses is business. His termination freed him. He has cancer and he’s never been more alive. He put two middle fingers up to that system and said I’m building my own businesses now with my daughters. He’s been in flow state ever since, spending all of his time outside in the sun doing manual labor, construction projects, landscaping, networking in the community. He’s overflowing with joy and love and excitement, and he’s already as tan as me. It’s beautiful to see. Although we’ve had our differences, our struggles, his connection to God has been the resilience that has carried him so far in life. It reminds me of the old Italian man, who smokes and drinks and lives to 100 because of joy. His faith is unwavering, it is full trust. It is the comfort of knowing you are fully seen, held, supported and protected, and if you don’t deny God, he won’t deny you. And that everything happens in divine timing for divine reasons. Every event, every circumstance, is really just an opportunity. What are you going to do about it? My dad has always maintained a childlike wonder in life, it’s where I get some of my “delusion” and dreamer tendencies. But God doesn’t put a dream in your heart that you’re not capable of achieving. Any additional prayers for today would be appreciated as he is in surgery, but he texted me that he was gonna hit the hotel pool and jump in the hot tub right before😆🤣 Strength and health to all y’all today, have a great day🙏🏼

Tom Cowan says let the people plork. “The problem here is that our toxic culture has created an artificial distinction between work and play that doesn't exist in reality… Let all the activities that the child AND the grown-up engage in be active, meaningful, creative, self-generated pursuits that are done both for enjoyment and to achieve a purpose or result.” https://blossom.primal.net/6aabeb514d7e448c43769203bb28ef0e397074a95bba89ea2c891c2dd98cda1d.jpg https://blossom.primal.net/5d2080a83976185ac4d70d22acd872a72ee8a7bbbd02aa78e15de2977e2fb776.jpg
