I'm enjoying listening to Candace Owens these days, but I'm trying to keep all this in my mind at the same time:
- she could totally be captured but in a way that I can't quite see yet;
- if not captured now, could be/likely will be in the future;
- in any case, her work can be a very entertaining distraction;
and, regardless of all of that:
- there's an aspect of decentralized investigation behind her work that is very cool;
- it's good to see more collaboration between some segments of the left and right in the US;
- and mostly - I find it genuinely encouraging to think of the mess we're in as a spiritual war, because then I know where to put my energy.

There can be a tendency in a culture to 1) stay separate from others and 2) be committed to excellence in various important areas (finance, trade, education, the arts). When you put those two together, you will likely get at least some nasty power players within that group and a whole lot of resentment outside of the group.
I think the hardest thing is to hold in your mind the idea that a group of people can be the innocent victims of psycopathic actions and also have contributed to the situation leading up to those actions.
