Bitcoin is by far the blockchain with the most functionalities, all aggregated through layer 2s, sidechains, etc. For example, with RSK you already have all the functionality of Ethereum.
The honest conclusion is that most development happens on Bitcoin, even if it’s outside of Core.
Its only Achilles’ heel is privacy.
