And when they get fucked with bad enough, playing dice to keep their wealth will sound incredible. \n\nI'm not confident people will have higher purchasing power and income in 10 years. The AI tech overlords have no desire to share. People will claim their freedom, but only after it gets really, really bad. \n\nThe one way I can see that not being the case is if either local llms or decentralized AI networks compete well with centralized AI. In that case who knows how long it may take for bitcoin to catch on.\n\nIts extremely hard to generate random information and secure it. But I'm still hopeful. Perhaps people will invent devices or contraptions that generate entropy with far less effort than dice or cards. But I'm just saying I'm not ready to give up on getting people to self custody. The alternative future is too dystopian for me to accept.",
