As a ham, lora is terrible. Bad cheap radios with no range giving people a false sense of security. Personal pet theory is it is a psyop to keep people from learning and investing in useful sovereign comms. Hams all mocked the boafengs when they came out, little did they know just a couple years later we'd be desperate for people to get a license and a baofeng instead.
