Personally, I think we all embrace the whole "find your passion and be good at it" thing right up until the moment where it means admitting you lack the skills and or interest required for a thing and should quit.

Any kid busy grinding away at something wrong for them because of the negativity around quitting isn't finding or building skills in something that is a good fit for them.
