My point is that there are various ways to buy without KYC. Less than 8 years ago sure, ill agree to that. And with a few easy steps. You can keep tx's private, LN being one way, open a channel and no one not even chain analysis knows what goes on in that channel. Some say liquid, but I never liked the federation stuff, and now they got exploited emboldering my opinion of liquid.
Tldr. Bitcoin can be used privately with just a handful of steps, yes monero may be inherently private, but that doesn't mean bitcoin can't be used privately.
Rumors of my demise have been greatly exxagerated.
