Having Bitcoin and diversifying into a Bitcoin ETF is a downgrade. If you're so poor that you can't hold Bitcoin for the long run or can't handle its volatility, you should be holding more fiat than Bitcoin. Even though Bitcoin is volatile, you can't balance that by holding equity because equity go bust in a way Bitcoin can't. Suddenly a 50% drawdown that will recover eventually feels a lot better than losing your whole position on mismanaged equity.

Any consideration of diversification away from Bitcoin is gambling in the end. And gambling is fine so long as you know that's what you're doing.
