Claude enabled me to get an idea for an elaborate acoustic-drum-triggered noise machine out of my head and into electronics, firmware and software. i've been dreaming of this custom device for years, but the amount of knowledge i'd have needed in areas i didn't care to develop it was a hurdle. this month i was able to build an extremely satisfying prototype of it, thanks to agentic ai.
