I'm not sure I follow. Frostr lets you rotate out your key shares because of the frost stuff. If you remove that, you're just looking at something like nos2x.

Or is your concern what happens if the FULL nsec is compromised? In which case, I do have to agree that it does still leave you without any recourse.

Seems like the benefit is that it reduces the attack surface on the nsec by not having it all in one place.
