My first dwarf banana bunch fell over once the soil got wet. It was a sucker put in about 12 months ago.

The tiny bananas, leaves & stem were roughly chopped up & used for mulch. The base I dropped somewhere else to start a new clump.

It's been cool watching the fruit form on a new variety, one that's much closer to the ground. I think I'll stake up the next bunch with some bamboo.
