That is true. ActivityPub has a major and deeply engrained culture problem. To the point where blacklists are hardcoded into the primary codebase.

I just don’t need everything I say to be signed and gossiped across the world. It ironically makes me more of a target when I wasn’t one before. Especially true if I am using encrypted notes.

I’m wondering if protocols or ideas could be combined for different use cases.
