I find that some Christians think: I am supposed to be saved if I have faith, so when I suffer does it mean that I don't have faith and I am not saved? Or is this whole thing wrong?

Another way of looking at it is: God is good and loves me and He allows me to suffer so that I can become holy. He must know that I am strong enough to partake in His cross.
