Advertising is nothing new, and I think most of us can understand the need for people to market their products and services. But the intrusion of ads into every aspect of life is new, and continues getting worse, and is one reason why Nostr is so refreshing. It’s not that advertising doesn’t happen on Nostr. I see people promoting stuff regularly. But advertising is not baked into the design of apps and business plans of companies on Nostr… at least yet. Hopefully that stays true.
