I always wonder what these people think the word simulation means. At a high enough layer of abstraction all that is "really" happening is energy moving around in waves through physical media.

You aren't "really" listening to music, vibrations are resonating on your eardrum. You're not "really" eating food, proteins are being absorbed by your lower intestine. You're not "really" touching that table, the electrons at the edges of the atoms in your hand are being repelled by the electrons in the table.

This sophistry is meaningless. All a bug within the procol of language I suppose. God help us.
