Counterpoint: I'm trying to convince a german friend that they need to buy bitcoin p2p from me. they think i'm suggesting drug dealing or something.

The Square POS accepting bitcoin has at least dispelled the drug dealing myth for them... so it has it's uses.

it's not ideal, but Square has introduced a little bit of bitcoin into everyone's life.
