  "content": "so, i am just over the shitty weak sauce battery and cracked screen of my pixel 9a. i found i could get a tuff oukitel wp36 at a local store, which has more than twice as fat battery, waterproof (even  has underwater camera capability) and fuck it, it's googled but i'm using my clanker to transfer all of my apps across via adb, backing them up, also, to my disk. having it able to run all day is a big deal. so is not ever having to worry about its screen cracking from the very few drops that the pixel suffered. and i'm betting it's 4g radio, and there's no point in having 5g here in the stans, there is no 5g. but they have scan qr code invoices to pay anyone here and you only need a passport to open a bank. so, the actual conveniences are much greater and 4g is better for battery life anyway.\n\nand i swear there's some shit wrong with graphene for drivers on the device anyway, the internet is so patchy it's irritating as fuck. and the cracked screen means i can't do kyc shit if i actually need to, front camera is fucked.\n\nwasn't terrible price either, $175. the guys at the shops that sell it tho were funny \"defense phone\" they said. you go look at the giant bazaar in the middle of town and it's like apple, xiaomi, samsung, repeat repeat repeat absolutely nothing else, no cat, no blackview, nix. best i can do is physical keyboard grandpa phones. lol.\n\nwoop woop all my apps are appearing on the launcher on my oukitel as i sit here typing, one by one plop plop plop.\n\nwho needs stupid google anymore anyway. adb and clanker ftw.\n\nsome day i will even flash a custom rom on this thing that i built with a clanker. if i manage to have the time.",
