I like Bitcoin but I feel like the culture has changed drastically from since I first entered it.

I feel like it’s moved away from its cypher punk/crypto-anarchist values, and has become more institutionalized, and speculative rather than focusing on dismantling the state.

That’s why it’s extremely difficult to sing praises when the main icons are no longer the devs, and contributors that made it great but are Wall Street/hedge fund, etc. dudes.

I say this as a stock market investor as well.

I focus on Bitcoin to give individuals financial freedom from the state’s tyranny.

But that’s also why I like Monero too because I feel those values are alive there as well.
