I see at those cathedrals of principles just like free markets of thoughts. I can like taoism because certain concepts that seem important for me find great representation in taoism.

I am especially fascinated by the concept of "wu wei". It is the practice of non-action.

Often I feel in western societies, non-action is looked at as weak, indecisive, unwillingness. So often people rather pretend busy instead of actually looking for the next best action and stay in non-action until then. To act more wise than just start to run, no matter which direction.
