Passkeys use locality as part of their security.
So for example, a hardware wallet* like the Bitkey can use fingerprint lock because you need your fingerprint AND locality to the device.
Your attack vector specifically talks about physical attacks, so I guess my point here is a bit mute, but if you create distance or involve multiple people's fingerprints, this gives you social protection.
Fingerprints are convenient and convenience is not for large amounts. But that doesn't necessarily mean that fingerprints can't be used for large amounts if inconvenience is added elsewhere.
