Interfacing with AI linearly through a chat is suboptimal for many tasks. At some point we will look back and ask ourselves how we worked like this.

Moreover, the default chat experience is bad in itself:

  • Answers as walls of text, so you have to hunt for the useful or actionable bits
  • Language that feels foreign and most (normal) work colleagues would ever use

When you aggregate hundreds of these interactions daily (not to mention context switching - another topic) it becomes exhausting.

I am no UX designer but experimenting with a non-linear, interactive mode for working on documents, as well as a "slop condom" skill that takes the best of: caveman, fuck slop, the ADHD one, and simplified technical English.

Both can work independent of each other but put together looks promising.
