They certainly don’t seem to do any harm to my lavender, nor to my rosemary if they get at it when I’m not watching. They’re both about the same age...

Yeah, I leave them alone. Apparently they do damage but it seems very minor and I like the look of them and I have enough of whatever they feed off anyway.
