Everything we do matters…

“I’ve come to know that we all learn from diversity, not from sameness. To be with people of different ages, races, and experiences is a gift. […] No matter my own age, I have found that spending time across age groups always sparks learning. Young and old can learn from each other, not as mentors and mentees, but as equals.”

[…]

“My role as an older person is to remind people how far we have come. Among the many things I have learned is that there is no one right way to achieve peace, equality, or justice. Everything we do matters—how we behave in an elevator, how we raise our children, how we treat our partners, how we participate in our government.”
