A mobile client wants your contact list, not all its versions ever. Sometimes you want more than that but we need a query to get only the latest.

yeah you would still need a filter feature to skip older versions, i would rather have a slightly more complicated filter than have information destruction baked in. Ship has long sailed on that one, but at least i can do it locally now.
