They certainly don’t seem to do any harm to my lavender, nor to my rosemary if they get at it when I’m not watching. They’re both about the same age...

Where you plant them and what relationships they have formed with other microbes along with access to certain minerals will affect the brix of sap. Age jaut kind of makes the relationships more likely as things sporulate and establish 🙂
