What do people actually think the benefits of a Bitcoin-only edition of an HWW are?!

Good question

If the manufacturer truly doesn't support other cryptocurrencies in any of their devices, then the assumption is that they can focus on getting Bitcoin right and not have to manage a complex multi-currency codebase

But you're right that there is no advantage in having a bitcoin-only version alongside their shitcoin version

If anything, it makes it less secure, because of the complexity of now having to maintain two products
