The normies aren't that fast at learning new things. Nostr requires a bit of learning. It will take a long time but eventually the world will be using nostr just like the world will be using Bitcoin.

Facebook still dominates the world because the normies are using it and their friends and family are there. Nostr isn't really setup for friends and family, coworkers. It's too open which is a big issue because once they come here and realize anyone can comment on their family & children's pictures saying nasty things they will quickly leave. I'm not a fan of this open profile system but I believe it will change in the future.

For now we can continue to improve things for the normies. It's a lonely time in nostr but let's keep working hard and don't quit your dayjob to work on a nostr project.
