Any caloric deficit will result in weight loss. You have to figure out how many calories maintain your current weight and then just eat less.

The easiest way to do it though is just to switch to high protein diet and eliminate carbs. Doesn’t have to be completely but less. Carb foods are generally higher calories so just eat less of that. I mostly eat meats and veggies now and I can eat almost as much as I want. I always get full because the calories from that are always less than carb-loaded dishes.

Carbs are sugars, breads, pastas, rice, potatoes, anything baked, anything deep fried, anything starchy.
