I wonder if someone from the Secret Service is gonna be fired. And I wonder how their recruitment is going, lately.
This past year I'm not sure, but I do know it was going so well, they didn't have enough work for them and started pushing out older agents. To be fair from the people I know, like most things, the job is hyped but your actual assignments are terrible. You work night shift outside some power plants until you die...
A lot of them left because their assignments were just so far from what they were promised and the private sector offered them much better opportunities. Gotta remember that these are all college educated, many if not most with graduate degrees, with training, getting stuck working 3rd shift moving every couple years, for 65-75k and $150k in debt and a baby or two on the way.
They tell me the job has it's perks, but if you aren't of the special minority it's just lacks in the opportunities promised for which the private sector still thrives apparently.
