That’s a fair take, but just to get this out of the way, if it comes to this (meaning BIP-110 fails and the only solution left is a hard fork change of SHA-256), I’m not supporting that and will simply disconnect my node and sell my Bitcoin. I don’t think there’s any merit in discussing hard forks, since we know they are a non-starter. We didn’t avoid them like the plague for 17 years just to pivot now. In fact I think even discussing them at this point is eroding the case for BIP-110 and giving higher ground for the bad actors. Sorry nostr:npub1lh273a4wpkup00stw8dzqjvvrqrfdrv2v3v4t8pynuezlfe5vjnsnaa9nk and nostr:nprofile1qqs8fl79rnpsz5x00xmvkvtd8g2u7ve2k2dr3lkfadyy4v24r4k3s4spremhxue69uhkummnw3ez6ur4vgh8wetvd3hhyer9wghxuet59uq3zamnwvaz7tmwdaehgu3wwa5kuef03j9hac, but if you search deeper, you’ll see that I’m right. We better make BIP-110 successful or we’re all screwed and Bitcoin will die.
