rawdogging the nsec is the best way. signer apps are slow and waste bandwith and get rate limited
I started using signers (and Amber on Android) because of the still real issue of people’s keypairs getting compromised from either poor security practices or poorly secured client and relay solutions (it was worse in 2023-24); it’s not as MUCH of an issue nowadays, although it still happens on occasion, but I’d rather not lower my security S&P if I know I don’t have to.
Software suddenly not working properly will force my hand in that regard.
