I think everyone is circling the drain on the simple fact that bitcoin has established store of value but not medium of exchange. It needs both.

Hodl is a one time transaction. Its a buy, then do nothing. That initial buy, when repeated across a global population over multiple cycles, generates initial velocity but is not sustainable as you always need another person purchasing to keep the pace.

The velocity of money establishes its exchange value. Yes mass adoption is needed but if the mass adoption is only hodl, that initial velocity establishes a price but then drops to zero. Its continuous transactions that creates sustainable velocity. No one will accept bitcoin as payment unless a sov is first established. But that's been done. So we as bitcoiners, need to also move forward and encouraging the use of bitcoin as money.

If i could magically snap my fingers and make every person who ever bought bitcoin, make an ONCHAIN transaction, that doubles the velocity of bitcoin. Wanna talk about face ripping NGU? That's how we get another 2017 era pump.
